This has been a rising trend for quite a few years now. Some of the top companies in the world like Disney, Cartoon Network and Nike have been using this new style of animation. As the name suggests, this style is characterized by the use of highly vibrant, and contrasting colours. These rich colour schemes, combined with an angular design result in an animation that is hard to look away from.
Hyper- Surreal animation
Hyper-surrealism is an animation style that relies on a combination of realistic elements and fantastical imagery. These elements are used to create worlds that are dreamlike. This trend makes full use of CGI or computer-generated imagery.

An example of such animation can be seen in a Honda ad titled “The dreamer”. In this ad, the viewer can see a car, the realistic element, journeying down surreal yet fantastic locations.
